With so many people doing self carry and trying to get off at the same time it was nearly a nightmare. We stood in line for about 40 minutes just trying to get off the ship. Just cruised first week of Dec. Airline changed our flight and we were really worried we wouldn’t make it. Thank goodness the airport wasn’t too crowded. Way too stressful, get a flight after noon.

On my cruises we usually come in between 330-600 am. The earliest anyone has left the ship was around 715 and that happened only once in 8 cruises.

I believe they recommend not booking a flight before noon. You can carry your luggage off yourself if you wish and it doesn't take long but you won't be getting off immediately. The ship has to be cleared by officials first. We usually get ready, have breakfast and then make our way off.

If you have an earlier flight please arrange an Uber ahead of time. Waiting for a taxi will take you hours possibly.
