Review summary

Overall this experience was originally booked for my elderly parents who needed my assistance to go on a vacation. Princess Cruise Lines has convinced them that they are there to assist everyone during the cruise and they did not miss a beat in the process. My parents feel confident that they can still cruise without bringing others to help.

Embarkation

Traveling with a disabled person was concerning but the cruise line made it very easy. All accessibility concerns were instantly addressed.

Main dining room was ok, Sabitini's and Crown Grill were great. Buffet was average but I usually do not visit the buffet.

Cabin was very nice, deck was perfect...the pull out bed was a mess. It was not usable, slats were broken and the mattress was thin foam. The room steward brought in a very comfortable roll away, which was perfect.

Ship tip

I never had Alaska as a "bucket list" and couldn't understand why there was such a demand for Alaskan cruises. I get it as this was a beautiful, memorable cruise that will be repeated many times over!

We had to pay $15 to take us to the city and there was nothing to see or do in the city for the short amount of time we were there. This was a wasted experience and I should have stayed on the boat.

As easy as the embarkation, thanks!
