Entertainment

Irish Comedian was so funny. Japanese concert pianist was an amazing surprise. The Beatles (Paul and John) had the place rocking. We never missed the Blossom Violinists. The Brass Jazz was special too. Pubs, etc--everywhere you went all day something great was happening. Unbelievable entertainment.

Service and Staff

Roximani (cabin steward) gets A+. Just made the cruise so enjoyable everyday. And the cruise director was super great. The veteran's day service on the ship was very moving and emotional. A flyer was distributed to participate in the prayers and music. The captain gave a tremendous tribute. Every detail of every day was planned so great.

Ship Quality

Just a beautiful ship everywhere. Loved the many hot tubs and pools. There was even a 3 foot pool to take a dip in the "tranquility" sunbathing area.

Cabin / Stateroom

L110 was a balcony on the marketplace deck. So great and convenient.

Ship tip

Wonderful for adults--we loved it. Did not see slides, rock climbing, bowing, etc more for kids.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

No, we did not do an excursion. But, it was easy to maneuver to gain access to the ship.

Cherbourg, France

Mont-Saint-Michel was amazing and tour guide was great. He shared history of the abbey and French art every step to the top. He also shared the culture on the ride through the countryside.

Lisbon, Portugal

Fatima was beautiful and our local tour guide was very informative. She shared the Portuguese culture, Lisbon development, etc.

Ponta Delgada, Azores

5 out of 5
No. The ship was docked right in the center of Ponta Del Gada. Walking to the gardens, fort and famous churches was so interesting. The fort really was a surprise and full of history. The multiple church architectures were beautiful.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
The paddleboat ride was overcrowded/overbooked. Multiple tour groups were on the ship. Not enough seats. But, it was only an hour and interesting. Arrival at the airport was excellent and on time. Luggage was all handled great.

Disembarkation

Very orderly and well planned.
