Repositioning cruise

Weather was bad, and the seas were not smooth going to Bermuda and leaving Bermuda.  Tours were cancelled due to lack of participation.  For a "chef theme" cruise and 3 special meals: under whelming.  Cruise port shops were closed in some ports due to national holidays. Personnel were great, cabin good and the people on board were fun.

Almost faultless

Excellent itinerary, outstanding service, very good food.  Our only criticism is that

the ship needs updating, the décor is a little tired and bland, though it is

very comfortable.

I have been on 5 other cruise lines including other "luxury" lines like Crystal and Regent.  Never have I had food this good or been treated so well.  The crew did everything they could to be sure that your every desire was met.

The itinerary was terrific.  we got to explore some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

If you want to live in the lap of luxury for a week, try this cruise.

Great 25th Anniversary Celebration

Everything exceeded our expectations food (great espresso and capuccino), cocktails, champagne, service, crew, size of ship, great bed and pillows, walk-in closet, balcony and ambiance.  Loved the idea of delivering the paper in Spanish and English.

During our 25th Anniversary Celebration our butler Anu got us in for dinner to Le Champagne and arranged for a cake with a candle and written in chocolate Happy Anniversary but when we got back to our cabin he put candle lights and rose petals all over the room and the bed covers plus every single morning he make sure our room service breakfast was delivered correctly and right on time.

I believe Silversea could improve on the room internet because it was way too slow.  We had a blast.

If looking for lowest price cabin they are on Deck 4 - do not book 437 or 439 because, even though they are right behind the main restaurant, have to take elevator or stairs up to Deck 5 and then come down another elevator or stair to get to the restaurant. Breakfast at La Terasse is a super buffet.

When booking shore excursions, they do not let you know about how HORRIBLE the road is in Dominica. After the trip to the Plantation, I had to get a massage , and use pain relievers. They should have had a health warning for people with back or neck problems , as I have seen on other cruises.

The restaurant at night by the pool was pretty cool where you cook your meal yourself on the hot stones.
