Disappoint din the Whisper - had been 23 years since we last sailed her and felt we were on a training course. A lot of new staff. Too few food options for a 10 day cruise. Will sail on their larger ships next time.
Embarkation

Rathe runderwhelming - we'd had our hotel moved 7 towns away from where was confirmed, so weren't happy about extra hour transfer there and back.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Foor uniformly wasn't;t of the greatest quality, taste, wasn't;t served hot when it should be - there were a few stand-out dished (maybe 4?) that we really liked, but out of 10 days, that was about it. Desserts & pastries weak, sushi.sashimi unappetizing, just were served some thing I don't think would pass muster in a standard restaurant setting. Included wine selection is really poor. Spirits & upgraded wines are good. Do love having the main dining room you can go to at any time, and appreciate the a la carte breakfasts and lunches, as opposed to buffets. La Dame was one of our better experiences there in about 8 visits. The Grill was the biggest disappointment - really poor quality meat, seafood and accompaniments and service.
Onboard Activities

Golf putting contest is fun - glad they don't have a whole lot of forced frivolity events.
Entertainment

Children's Programs
Silversea is not geared to kids at all - I feel sorry for the kids that get dragged along.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Staff are uniformly kind, sweet, eager to please, they just don't have the tools or training to do so.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Beautifully maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our last suite was a Silver Suite, so we were concerned about downsizing, but the Medallion was very comfortable - only really noticeable difference except sq ft is a much smaller shower. We did had water issues - ie. all cold water cutting out while in the shower & getting scalded. Appreciate the powder room layout and access.
Ship tip
Eat breakfast and lunch a la carte at The Restaurant, not the buffets. The deck outside the Panorama lounge is very peaceful and scenic.
