Silver Ray overview

The second Nova Class ship Silver Ray will launch from Southampton, UK on June 3, 2024.

Portraying a dynamic and immediate connection with nature, where the touch of light inspires purity and movement, Silversea’s second Nova Class ship will be named Silver Ray. The pioneering luxury vessel inherits the revolutionary aspects of sister ship Silver Nova – notably the innovative asymmetrical design offering uninterrupted views from every vantage point through extraordinary use of glass in public spaces and suites. At 54,700 gross tons and hosting just 728 guests, she will be among the most spacious ships ever built, with a space-to-guest ratio of 75 GRT per passenger. Stunning Silver Ray by DreaminAgain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Silver Ray

Our cruise was of the Adriatic coast, beginning in Athens and finishing in Venice. It was a beautiful cruise with lovely ports. Only comment was not enough sea days! Only one sea day in eleven days, is not really enough. It made the voyage seem very busy.

Almost Perfect by Wendi795

Great ship, great food, great service, poor wines at dinner, cutting back on the little things is quite noticeable.

One issue we encountered was the refusal to open adjoining balconies. We often travel with friends and always book cabins next to each other so we can open up our balconies. An unknown safety risk was the reason for denying us and this has never occurred on other lines. Another point, Silverseas does not use an app, and the daily chronicle is posted onto your TV, rather than a paper newsletter left at your door. I found the communication by this mode to be somewhat cumbersome.
