I enjoyed the Regent Splendor and would go on another cruise with this class of Regent ship. The food could be improved. Based on this experience, I prefer Seabourn to Regent, but I think both cruise lines are close. The cabin on the Splendor is superior to Seabourn, but the food and personal service is superior on Seabourn.

The food was not as good as I had hoped. The food was not as good as on Seabourn cruises. The specialty restaurant, Prime 7, poor on the two times we dined in that restaurant. The other restaurants were good.

The cabin was spacious and had ample room for all of our clothing. The bed was very comfortable. All sheets, towels, and amenities were excellent.
Ship tip
Avoid ordering steaks and the lobster tail. Both were over cooked and without much flavor. All of the dining venues were very good except Prime 7.
Disembarkation was easy, we were transported to the airport in a comfortable bus, and we arrived at the airport with plenty of time to check bags and proceed to the departure gate.
