Regent is my favorite cruise line and I loved this cruise. It was nice to start and end in Miami but it was a little long at 24 days. I felt some small things about the service were a little”off”. Loved the lectures and learned a lot about a part of the world I knew little of. Love the small ship and our suite that was home for three weeks. Highly recommend this because it is like two Caribbean vacations as well as a cruise up the Amazon for about 1000 miles.

Nice to be able to get on the ship right away even if we had to wait in the public areas. They had a room for hand luggage but we were not told about it so we dragged everything to the restaurant.

Food and Dining

The food was excellent and I appreciated having some popular dishes available any day. Loved the Canyon Ranch selections but wish there were more choices for diabetics.

Service and Staff

Service was good but I’ve sailed on this ship before and felt it wasn’t as good as before. Examples were getting sorbet after the entree or waiting a very long time for wine at dinner. Room stewards were fantastic. Shore excursions were nice but it was hard to know how much actual walking was necessary

I love the small ships and feel they make good use of what they have.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great place to live on a long cruise. Great closets, plenty of hangers. Wonderful beds!!! Loved the veranda and bathroom
Enjoyed our guide on the Meeting of the Waters cruise but bought an item at the floating restaurant that did not make it to my bag when the clerk gave the other items to me even though I paid for it.
Boi Bumba Folk show was fantastic but seats were terrible. Once I stood on the side I was able to see the wonderful show. The cast posed for photos afterwards and great shopping
Waves too high for tenders so we went back to St Maarten. No excursions but good shopping and the ship did arrange a shuttle to go to the French side of the island.
