City tour was very interesting, included Opera House and zoo, which was South American animals only. A second tour to the "meeting of the waters" and a canoe ride, was also excellent.

Walked around the part of the city outside the terminal for a while in the morning. Impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the streets and buildings for being so deep into Brazil. Excursion was good and the opera house was extremely impressive. Zoo was so so.

Didn’t want to leave. Spent 2 days in the eco lodge - saw so much, it was great. Visited the indigenous tribe who were lovely. Held a caiman, trekked through the jungle, fished for piranha......great. Be aware, you need to be fit for this tour. Early morning starts and a lot of pushing through undergrowth.

Beautiful opera house but that's about it. Merging of the rivers and dynamics associated with this were interesting

This is the biggest city we visited on the Amazon. It was interesting to see it but I would not chose to go back.
