Would highly recommend purchasing the drink card package - you don't have to mess with signing and keeping receipts. Review excursion options prior to setting sail, do some investigating on your own. Most events held at the R-Bar (4th floor) - get there early, very little seating.

If sip arrives in Barbados on Sunday - all shops are closed. Don't bother to venture into town on Sunday. Either take a private car or go to a beach. While we are not 'beach worshipers' the beach we went to was absolutely beautiful: clean, shell and seaweed free, plenty of chairs and umbrellas.

Be sure to try the restaurant for breakfast one morning instead of using the Windjammer every morning. We realized late in the cruise that they serve from 0800-0930 in the same restaurant you are assigned and it is a sit down served breakfast... Delightful for a relaxed day at sea!

Be prepared for the weather...it can be cool and rainy. Also, there were spa specials that were a good price and this was very enjoyable. When the cruise departs from Stockholm, grab a glass of wine and sit on deck to watch the fantastic archipelago for a few hours.

This ship docked VERY far from the Riga city center (unlike the Vision 5 years ago), and we were required to pay $14 per person to get into the city and back. This was not announced until the night before we arrived, leaving no time to make other arrangements.
