The Safari club all the way aft has a nice view and is a quiet place with comfortable seating for reading.

This is a smaller older ship. If you want the perks of newer ships, don't sail on Serenade. If you want a smaller intimate experience, she is the ship for you.

Watch out for My time dining impact. We had a table for 2 for 5:30 dinner. Once they started seating My time dining people, our service dropped dramatically until we complained. We wanted to be out of the dining room before 7. We were after expressing our concerns.

A hidden treat not available on most ships is the bow of the ship being open to passengers on sail aways. Cool little gem.

Remember if you are sailing out of Tampa you are going to be on an older smaller ship since the port (Sunshine Skyway Bridge) cannot accommodate the newer larger ships.

Lower your expectations... food quality and selection is poor, entertainment is nonexistent and activities low level. Internet is very bad. Staff disorganized. I didn't receive my on-boad credit as indicated on my Cruises.com document...s.
