We love cruises but this trip was a little boring. Not a lot of exciting entertainment, food was basic, and ports were not that exciting. We like more variety so we'd choose a different ship and a different itinerary. Service was great though.
Embarkation

Getting on the ship was fairly easy, but the sail away was disappointing due to poor weather
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The staff was great but the food, desserts, were just ok. I've been on many cruises from many cruiselines and the food wasn't anything to write home about. It was mostly comfort food with fried chicken, pastas, and soups. The best night was lobster- cooked perfectly, and baked alaska. Other than that it was just ok. Maybe food supply was an issue?
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We love trying lots of different acticities on ships, but this ship didn't have a lot of variety. The bingo was expensive for 3 uneventful non energetic games. The main pool often had a movie and music playing at the same time. The usual 2 shows a night was once a night only half the trip. After the 1st night sail away with a few songs, and a comedian was not entertaining. The game shows they tried to do were in small spaces, difficult to see and hear, and did not offer a lot of participation. We love the art auctions but they were often crammed into a small space- again with no seating for everyone. We also wanted to try some of the "fee based" activities. They were ridiculously expensive. It was $30 to decorate ONE cupcake.
Entertainment

The piano player in the Schooner bar was decent and played everyday. He was funny and entertaining. The ship show's were pretty boring and not very memorable.
Children's Programs
My girls were too old for kids club
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was great. we found a waiter and assistant on the 2nd night and requested them every night. They were wonderful with lots of personality and always going above and above to make sure we were satisfied with our dinner.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was decent. some parts were getting a little worn like the drawers that kept coming apart and the bubbling drawer liners. Probably to be expected due to the excessive mositure. bath room cabinet rusted. Shower head could not be adjusted so my short self sometimes felt like I was drowning unless I held the wand in my hand. The bed was awful!! Most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in a long time. All 5 of us had issues sleeping. Finally remembered to ask for a mattress topper on day 5. A little better but they do need some better mattresses.
Ship tip
A hidden treat not available on most ships is the bow of the ship being open to passengers on sail aways. Cool little gem.
This port was much bigger and better. Lots of excusions and possible activities for passengers. It's a short walk into town if you want local food, drinks, shopping, and a little history.
Not much to do here except the beach. You can rent a golf cart but this island is mostly beaches, so just walk or take the free shuttle to the beach at the ened of the pier.
This was by far the best island and most relaxing. Wish we could have stopped here twice. We brought our own snorkel and found a fair amount of sea life. There were 2 ships in port but the island did not seem crowded. Lots of open chairs with shade. Lots of food options.
