I must say again, this is one of my best cruises. We had an amazingly good time, and carefree!

Love cruising on the Serenade but unfortunately she will be repositioned to Australia and replaced by the Vision of the Seas which is a smaller ship!

We enjoyed our cruise. It was restful which is what we were looking for.

We love the smaller ships and having a centrum to see all the different activities going on.

Ship and itinerary was outstanding. Unfortunate that we missed Costa Rica due to medical emergency. Captain kept us informed and made the appropriate decision. On board we booked the Serenade for a 19-day Transpacific next year.

We had a great time on this cruise. Part was the ports, but mostly it was the people we met and hung out with every day. Great service on this ship.

In all it was a nice cruise. We are past the island hopping stage in cruising and prefer sea days. So it is nice to have a ship with more 'adventures' on it.

Wonderful experience overall, great ship great staff and fun passengers that we met. Good itinerary overall. Sad part was that weather was terrible in most days and we had our itinerary reversed and then also ports of calls cancelled and excursions we were only able to do 2 out of 5(6) so that was a bit what perhaps dragged the overall down. But considering weather is an unpredictable thing don't let that fool you that the cruise isn't good. It's great. The overall rating is based on all my ratings here and my ports of call drag it down because of the weather. Serenade is a great cruise ship! She does move quite a lot in rough seas - something I didn't expect from a cruise ship her size but be aware if you easily get seasick (luckily I don't) but we staggered around quite a lot due to her motion.

One thing I can’t get over is how disappointing the food was in the reflections dining room for dinner. Service was fine but all the meals were executed below average. Not sure if it’s royal Caribbean cutting corners on good ingredients or poor execution by the cooking staff staff. Probably a little of both.

New year ok after that ship was a building site with dirt everywhere on pool deck So no band no sail away parties no barbecue on deck and the noise from the work was appalling loud all day.

Not up to usual standard,poor entertainment,didn’t once get asked if we wanted a drink from pool staff the same in Windjammer we had to complain to get served.

A great itinerary with plenty of holiday events. First holiday cruise and was not disappointed.

Pack your patience you will need it. It will help you from being disappointed.

Puerto Limon (port) needs much improvement. The process to valid/stamp our passports was unorganized and un---nerving.

I fell in love with cruising and am now a fan of RCCL. The Serenade is the right ship if you are looking for a smaller crowd, excellent ports and fine with a less hectic atmosphere. Definitely a winner.

My first cruise with royal Caribbean great holiday fantastic ship with superb service excellent food and some of the best islands in the Caribbean would highly recommend already booked next one thanks royal Caribbean for one of the best holiday's so far

Ports, ports, ports! Definitely port intensive! But, the islands are lovely and the beaches are wonderful. Most ports are walkable which makes it easy to get around. I am 'loyal to Royal' so any cruise I go on is wonderful, but the southern Caribbean is definitely special.
