Review summary

Love cruising on the Serenade but unfortunately she will be repositioned to Australia and replaced by the Vision of the Seas which is a smaller ship!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The custom process for B2B was like it used to be years ago. Eg 45+ minutes to get off ship, wait, talk to custom agent and return to ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Most nights had good menu selections and food was good. A couple nights menu wasn’t great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoy rock-climbing wall and fitness center

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The stage/production shows are goo but they have been around for years - time to change them. The musicians and other performers were excellent

Service and Staff

All were friendly and helpful

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Love the Serenade but she’s in need of loving. You can see her age...

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was confirmed and clean. However the balcony wasn’t cleaned/washed during our 21 days (b2b).

Thanks for the info. I'm doing a B2B in May. I wonder if the process changes by embark/debark port. I was hoping for an easier transition but considering we'll be sailing from San Diego to Vancouver, I'm guessing disembarking and clearing customs will be necessary and would make sense.

Vision class is not that much smaller and holds less people too so it should not feel any more crowded.
