Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Everything was ok. Not like the RC dinning experiences I have had in the past. Room service was a mess. As for drinks, bring your own straw. You can get bio degradable straws that are stronger than what they use on the ship. It’s horrible to have a drink with a straw that melts before the ice does.

Onboard Activities

Cruise director was awesome.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The piano an Perry was creepy and out of date for a holiday family cruise. Our favorite bar to hang out on the boat at night but we found somewhere else to go. Couldn’t handle two minutes of his show. Very out of date and not for a family cruise.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The staff seemed to be brand new. Had difficulty working together. The only person I can say something nice about is the MDR manager. He worked hard to fix the mistakes. When I had an issue I was told by the front desk manager that any problems I have on the ship I must take to shore not him.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Run down ship. Big screen broken and was suppose to be fixed months before we boarded. That was not the case.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
I felt there was an obstruction in this zero obstruction room. Sink didn’t work properly. Toilet would break when you needed it. Run down room. Very dirty in places. Don’t book in this section if you don’t want some obstruction.

Ports of call

Roseau, Dominica

Do not do the RC beach break. The drive is scary. I cried with all the women in the back of the van. We thought we were going to die. It was far away any the place is terrible. The locals don’t stop harassing you. The ship does not wait for its own tour. When we got there we paid $10 for a chair, sat down was harassed by locals so we turned around and got in line for a van to go back to the ship since it was so far away and didn’t want to miss the ship. Waste of time and money.

Just got off this ship. It was not dirty. It is a smaller ship for sure. Our food was excellent the entire time.

We’ve been on this ship twice. It is an older ship, we have never found it to be dirty. Service has been excellent. Food sometimes good but always ok. We went to guest services when we both got paint on our clothes (they had painted the ceiling and paint had dripped onto deck chairs). They got every bit of paint out but they would have given us money to pay for the clothes if they couldn’t remove it. Entertainment is always changing, we’ve had good and not so good you have to try different venues. I guess it’s a matter of expectations.

Not sure from your review what you mean by having to pack your patience. It looks like you traveled during one of the busiest weeks of the year, so maybe the ship was very crowded
