Cruise line offering were not at all up to the standards that we have previously experienced on RC. I would not travel RC again unless changes are made to the Ocean Adv. staff and the quality of the food onboard.....very bland!

My impression of the ship was WOW

We recently cruised on "Serenade of the Seas" through Royal Caribbean. This was our second cruise. This cruise was less expensive than the first but just as wonderful. This is a new ship that is beautiful. There are many activities going all the time. They have activities to interest anybody. There pool area is beautiful. The food was excellent! Staff was courteous. There is also a lot for kids to do although we didn't take ours this time. I would highly recommend this ship.

I just returned from a 5 night Caribbean cruise on Serenade of the Seas. Three friends and I went on the cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was fantastic!! We left the hubbies, kids and stress behind. The ship was spectacular and the service was even better. The crew was very friendly, helpful and happy. Our cabin steward and waiter took very good care of us. On my birthday our cabin steward gave me a bottle of champagne on ice with 4 glasses to share with my friends. It was an unexpected treat! The food was great both in the dining room and at the buffet. There were plenty of activities going on for all to enjoy. The time in port was good. Enough time to shop and sightsee or go to the beach. I would highly recommend the Serenade of the Seas. Next cruise, I plan to take my family. They would love it!

I clearly rated the ship the maximum stars. It was very clean and the crew were very attentive and organized. I thought that the food and service were excellent and only one of the Chef's daily specials was poorly made. A fish tempura that had very soggy crust was unappetizing. The stateroom and wait staff were very friendly and had great personalities. I really enjoyed my first cruise.

We enjoyed the entire cruise on the Serenade of the Seas. We sure appreciated the captain giving us his 360 degree turns around the various islands. The was an added great treat!

The ship was clean, service was amazing (except Guest Relations - go figure). Sure our cabin was small but they all are. Our Cabin Steward - Fernando was excellent. The kids couldn't wait to see what towel animal was on our bed at night! The kids program was great! The activities staff was hysterical. Lots of activities - all different types! Almost too many activities - didn't have time for them all. Would definitely go on Serande of the Seas again!!

Our first cruise on Royal Caribbean and the ship, staff, entertainment and itinerary exceeded our expectations. The ports for the southern Caribbean cruise out of Puerto Rico are excellent. Each port has so much to offer and there is so much to do it is simply a great escape. The staff are happy and friendly and the ship has many things to offer. I would recommend Royal Caribbean to others especially this tour. We got a good taste of the southern Caribbean to plan a regular vacation or take another cruise.

It was a wonderful experience. Captain George is so personable and everyone on the ship loves him. The shows were great and the ship is beautiful. We loved the entertainment and bartenders at the Schooner Bar. You have to book this ship for your next vacation.

The Serenade of the Sea's was a bit of a dissapointment. The beds were dreadful and the staterooms were showing wear.The dinning rooms were beautiful and the service great, but the food was just average. The Windjamer buffet had the exact same options everyday. The seaview cafe was good,but the hours were limited and since it had the best food on the ship, there were lines. The pool was way too small. The childrens pool was too large and wasted space since it was rarely open. The mini golf course was really nice, But do they really need a full basketball court? This also took up space, On the sea day there were no deck chairs to be had! To date the Crown Princess has been our favorite ship.It is simply beautiful.The Crown Princess is a large ship, but has a small ship feel and very classic design.Back to Royal Carribean,the most dissappointing aspect was the schedule of events.We would look at the compass activity sheet and not find one thing we wanted to do. This was the opposite on Princess.We would find 10 things to do at the same time and have to pick and choose.We cannot comment on the childrens program,because We didn't have the children with us this time.I can say that the Princess scholarship at sea program and the kid zone was great. The ports of call on the seranade of the seas were wonderful and the captain personalized each port.

This was the best time we have ever had on a cruise vacation. The staff was fantastic including the captain of the ship who decided to sail us by some beautiful places such as the island of Montserrat to see the volcano and to see the Pitons in St. Lucia. The food was by far the best we have had on a cruise and the ship was gorgeous. We loved this cruise so much, that we are now considering booking for next year!

The ship was beautiful. Loved the solarium. Loved the music in center of ship. Was really great. Easy access to all areas of the ship and I could find my way around in no time.

clean ship, lots of great food, i was very impressed withthe personnel and there and there performance. i was diappointed, with the music i wanted to dance. there should have been some 40s and 50s music for the older people since they outnumbered the other guests. i consider the cruise excellent with the exception of the music. thank you

Good cruise

This ship is a sister to the Brilliance, and both are very lovely ships with a lot of glass elevators. We were on a member's cruise, so as Diamond members we were treated to a free tour on St. Maarten, and a free lounge with drinks and snacks every night. Unfortunately the snacks were the same just about every night which got a little tiring. We found the staff to be very friendly and happy at their jobs. The Captain went out of his way to get us close to the Pitons, and his comments were always clear and informative. I would sail on a ship captained by him again without question.

The ship and all of its amenities exceeded our expectations. The food was great and the service was even better. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we got whatever we asked for (within reason, of course). This was our second cruise with Royal Caribbean and definitely not our last with them!

1) The food quality was quite poor 2) The staff did not go above-and-beyond compared with previous cruises I have taken 3) There were few activities for younger couples 4) There were strange, sulfurous smells near the mini-golf course on some days 5) The ship was clean and looked nice 6) The climbing wall and mini-golf were enjoyable

The room was great. We weren't getting in each other's way like we've done on other cruises. The ship's staff were extremely friendly and attentive.The overall appearance of the ship was great.
