Our first cruise to Alaska had great weather. We packed for rain and cold but had no rain and it was rather warm. We were very lucky as Alaska is usually very cold and wet. The views were amazing. The staff on the ship were excellent. We had heard others complain about staff shortage and slow service but we found everything satisfactory.

It was a little frantic and disorganized but we were on the ship within 30 minutes. We were lucky that we took a Lyft to the port because they took us right to the baggage drop area.

We loved the MDR, consistent with other larger ships. We only did sushi at Izzumi and it was good. The Windjammer was ok with a variety of foods for breakfast and lunch. We only did Windjammer when the MDR wasn't opened for lunch.
Onboard Activities

There was a lot to do. We did most shows and some trivia and tried to hit every bar on the ship.

Wait staff in the MDR was excellent. Cabin person was great. Everyone on board was very happy and welcoming.

Nice but smaller than other ships. But we are usually on the balcony unless dressing or sleeping.
