Review summary

We had a great time.  The food was very good.  There was a good variety except for breakfast.  I am not sure how that can be changed as there is not that much that can be changed.  The staff was always looking for ways to make our trip more enjoyable.  We enjoyed the excursions we booked through the ship.  The description the ship offered was accurate so we knew what we were going to experience.

I was not pleased that we were charged $13.50 per day in tips.  I prefer to reward those that gave me service.  I understand the reason behind it, but I feel that for an inside cabin on the lower floor it is too much. It also seemed that they were charging for things that before were free or at a much lower cost.

We loved the zip line tour from the ship. The staff there was professional and patient. I would recommend it for first time zip liners and most all ages.

The $13.50 is divided among so many people that each person only gets about $2.00 a day. The crew is not paid very much & they have to leave home for 8 months at a time & work every day. I really don't mind paying that amount considering the fact that I don't have to cook, wash dishes, make my bed, do the laundry, vacuum, etc. We also tip extra to the cabin steward, waiter, & asst. waiter if they have gone above & beyond& they usually do! You're right about prices going up for specialty restaurants & maybe some other things that I can't remember right now. Guess I won't do those things. We always look for a really good price for our 🚢 cruise or we won't do it. That leaves us a little wiggle room for other expenses.😎🌴
