Review summary

This was an enjoyable cruise.  Our first 10 day cruise.  We found it very relaxing with a great balance of days at sea and ports of calls with excursions.  Overall the onboard staff was great. Being a 10 day cruise the clientele was a little older and the activity in the bars and clubs in the evening was very light on this cruise.  It seemed like a great time of year to go.  The weather was nice and sunny most days and not too hot.  We will probably do another 10 day cruise in the future.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was good. But, not outstanding. We chose not to take advantage of any of the specialty dining restaurants on this cruise.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Overall entertainment was good. But, was better on our previous cruise on a larger ship. The piano bar singer was not so good. The Centrum band was very good. Enjoyed the Vegas acts in the main theater.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service staff was great. Waiters at our dinner seating were very good and quickly personalized their service to our preferences. The bartenders at the wine bar were outstanding. They provided us with a lot of fun as we were closing the bar with them most nights.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was as expected for a balcony room. Adequate storage for my wife and I. We found it comfortable for sleeping and changing which is what it was most used for.

Ship tip

Found this ship to be a nice ship with good amenities all around. Though there weren't as many activity options as there were on our previous cruise aboard the Navigator which is a larger ship. However, with less people aboard access to lounge chairs at the pools and seats at bars was great.

Enjoyed our Americas Cup sailing excursion. It was well worth it. Wish we had time to get to the French side of the island.
