The itinerary of this cruise was perfect for us. A pleasant surprise was the port of Dubrovnik, Croatia--this was a gorgeous place. We enjoyed all the ports and were sad we were unable to stop at Split, Croatia due to the weather. The captain determined it was too unsafe to Tender us to port and actually ended up proceeding early to our next stop of Dubrovnik. The ship and its personnel were very accommodating. There was surely plenty to do. The food was very good as usual with Royal Caribbean. One night I did order prime rib which tended to be rather fatty and should have sent it back. We have travelled on Royal Caribbean once before and we were very pleased which is why we elected to return to Royal Caribbean and are now Crown and Anchor members which is their loyalty group. We have also been on Princess which was nice, but feel Royal Caribbean is just a step above. We basically toured each port on our own, but in Venice decided to take the St. Marks/Doges Palace tour with Royal Caribbean. We felt for the $99 spent, the tour was fine, but rather rushed. One other comment I would make is about the smokiness of the casino. Think RC should make a smaller segregated area for smokers. It was bothersome. But, overall, we had an amazing time with an amazing cruise line and ship.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Some tables in main dining room rather close together if you wanted privacy.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Mariana Dinu was our cabin attendant and couldn't do enough to please us.
Stage productions were great as were some of the other performers. Others were ok.
Children's Programs N/A
Onboard Activities
Plenty to do.
Destinations and Excursions
Destinations were fabulous. Venice tour of St.Marks/Doges Palace to short for the money. Ran through rather quick.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
WE stayed in Rome for 3 nights after the cruise. Enough to see main sights.
Salerno (Naples), Italy
We took the local ferry (Travel Mar) to Amalfi. It was a perfect day and a beautiful place.
Messina, Sicily
Went to Taormina with family who met us there...WOW.
Valletta, Malta
Interesting place, but do NOT do the Hop On Hop Off City Sightseeing bus. Lots of wasted time.
Corfu, Greece
Toured the Fort in Old Town which was very interesting and went to Mon Repos Beach. Beach Ok with lots of seaweed. Think beaches on other side may be nicer.
Kotor, Montenegro
Get up early as you cruise up to port. The scenery is amazing as they say. Most beautiful. We hiked up the wall for incredible views. Wear good shoes.
Venice, Italy
RC tour of ST.Marks/Doges Palace was fine, but moved too quickly through ST. Marks.
Split, Croatia Could not port due to weather.
Dubrovnik, Croatia
OMG what a gorgeous place. Go early and walk the wall around the old town. Amazing views.

If you are on My Time dining and a couple who wants some privacy, ask for a table along the rail.
