Cruise 2011 South Carib

Sail Date: November 13, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Although the ship needed maintenance as the corrosion was very evident, the service and entertainment over shadowed the maintenance. The service by our waiter team in the Main dining room was absolute;y superb and is rated outstanding (well beyond excellent)!

Very disappointed that the Golf simulators were inoperative and wasn't impressed by the attitude of the sports entertainment staff.

The service at both omelet stations in the Windjammer could be improved upon. the appears to be inefficiencies that need to be reviewed. Additionally condiment trays (such as tartar sauce were often left empty in excess of ten minutes. One could be done eating or his food could be cold before the condiment trays were replenished,

Pros: Service and ambieance in main dining room

Cons: Poor service at omelete station in Windjammer dining facility

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Our balcony stateroom was a bit cramped. an additional 20 square feet would have been great.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Excellent except for Sports staff and Windjammer Omelet Station.
Entertainment
