Review summary

The ship was pretty. The crew was snarly except for a few nice ones. The crew seemed upset that they had to serve the breakfasts and lunches because they were normally buffet style. However, do to the fact that the ship had a problem on it's prior voyage, the week before, they did not allow any passenger to server themselves. Nor did they have salt/pepper shakers, they handed out packets. My biggest issue was that the price was supposed to include "soft drinks" However, once on board, we found you had to pay an additinal $52 to get coca-cola for the week! we settled for bad ice tea and lemonade, just out of principal. The ship seemed very commericalized and were constantly trying to sell you things, like coke, coffee/lattes, art, pictures, videos. My favorite (NOT) momeent of the cruise was when the captain of the vessel came over the PA to announce the dangers of gastrointestinal disease DURING THE FORMAL DINNER! yummy. Needless to say, I think it was cheesy all in all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
As I mentioned earlier, the crew mistakenly thinks that contagious gastrointestinal disease comes from undercooked meat and eggs. This made for lousy steak and beef throughout the cruise. The restaurant options were good but had the same "beef" issues. One could get a "free' coke there, but when I explained that it was flat, they wanted to charge me $2.50 for a can of coke!

Entertainment

absolutely beautiful and awesome
Don't Miss: the Pitons

Pros: Staterooms were nice

Cons: The crew and restaurants went overboard on the sanitation thing. They acted like everyone was carrying a deadly disease. It got to be insulting after awhile. The chefs would not prepare steaks rarer than well done, as they were afraid this would spread gastroinstestinal disease. This was absurd
