Review summary

We started off the cruise fairly disappointed in the food and service in the Observation Bar, but the longer we were on the boat and had great service from other staff, we felt better about the overall experience.

The food was pretty bland in all of the restaurants. That was one of our biggest disappointments.

Onboard Activities

My husband used the fitness center daily and was disappointed that they did not have any spin bikes. The pool staff was great but the area around the pool was less roomy compared to their smaller ships. The lounge chairs were quite narrow and packed in. Pool was nice. The walking deck is fairly short. When they put in the retreat in the new ships, it limited the distance around the deck.

Entertainment

The onboard singers were the best we have ever heard on a cruise. The two special entertainers during the first week of our cruise, Ben Mills and Steve Steven’s were awesome as well.

Service and Staff

The service overall was excellent. Some of the staff were over the top great. The only problem was in the Observation Bar pre dinner. Most nights we had to wait 20-30 minutes to get a drink.

The ship was very clean. The layout is great except for the pool deck and walking deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a veranda suite midship on deck 7. The cabin was a nice size and very comfortable. Our room steward was excellent.
