Review summary

For first visit to Australia it's a great way to see the whole country. Given the time in port it's difficult to do everything you may want but do take advantage of optional excursions. It nice have the same bed every night and not packing-unpacking as you do on a land tour.

After a 25+ her flight we had to wait(another 4 he)until the official check-in time at 2pm. IMHO if you book your air through the cruise line you should be allowed to board the ship and wait in one of the lounges until the room is ready.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was very good-looking no complaints. Again IMHO I thought the beverage package was very expensive considering both stateroom occupants were required to purchase and it was a 28 day cruise. At approx $79/day/pp it too much. The cruise offered a wine package on embarkation day. Nothing with PC!

Onboard Activities

Very good. I did like the variety provided. Every few days an entertainer would leave while on port another would join us for a few days. Good variety singers, comedians, magician, show band( excellent), show dancers(excellent) and various others. Well done

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the service personnel were top notch.!!! Very friendly, very efficient, well mannered. A great ship staff.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Given the fact it is an older vessel it had no issues, was kept very clean and was well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

No issues, bed was comfortable, adaquate roominess. Lots of drawers and closet space.
