We had a wonderful time and it was a great was to celebrate my mothers 90th birthday. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The ship was clean, well maintained, and an overall pleasure to be on.

A beautiful ship with a comfortable and well-appointed stateroom. All processes from embarkation to immigration check-in to disembarkation were extremely well organized. Every staff member seemed to understand that as a passenger on board the Star Sapphire, you were a 'guest' in their 'home'. Lovely cruise.

I loved this cruise and this ship. There were so many people on our ship but it never felt that way. It was great to know that there were a lot of people around but still be able to find some peace and quite and alone time outside of our room.

Too much trying to sell something

The Sapphire is a very nice ship. Spacious and very well kept.

Ship is overall beautiful. My husband and I have traveled many times on other cruise lines. Most of the staff was helpful. Many activities were offered on board although some were changed last minute which was disappointing. Food was good but not outstanding and more choices need to be included for the grill. Perhaps mexican and mongolian food. My husband and I are dancers and we have a suggestion for the cruise director or who ever is in charge of hiring bands to play for people to dance must be able to dance themselves music on the ship was either way to slow or way to fast mid tempo was never played .Please also include Fox News Channel as a choice of news. Ports of call were excellent we had a great time discovering Alaska.

The Alaskan cruise in September was full of retired people. The crowd was very quiet. I never was woken up by kids running and screaming up and down the halls. This cruise was very romantic. An excellent choice for a couple that wants to be wined and dined and pampered to their every needs. Alaska is absolutely beautiful!!! Make sure you bring wet weather clothes just in case. Formal nights are very fancy. This cruise is not for children/teenagers.

Old ship needs remodeling. Not enough staff to passenger ratio. Teen room needs gifts and prizes as well as food. The restaurants were not very good. Lower quality of food all around. No Alaskan king crab on an Alaskan cruise

In seeing other ships, it was obvious that the Sapphire Princess was what I would call upper middle class, but for a first-timer that was alright. The port calls for this particular trip were excellent, although I got a bit tired of the "diamond hawking". The balcony suite we had was a perfect size for two people and afforded excellent views and quiet/private time when needed. I really liked the casual/laid back ambiance of the cruise. Would definitely do a cruise again.

The service from the staff went far beyond what we expected. They were friendly and extremely helpful. We took the time to get to know a few of the employees and really enjoyed our time with them.

We cruised Alaska on the Sapphire Princess and I was not impressed with the cruise at all. The ship was nice and our room was GREAT but all they wanted to do was sell you diamonds. This is not what I went to Alaska to see and do.Will not go again.

Great food with large portions in the dining room. Clean staterooms and public areas. Buffet was excellent. Ports of call were top notch. Service was very good, especially in the buffet area. This was my 3rd cruise to Alaska and it exceeded my expectations in all ways. You can't go wrong with Princess.
