Review summary

1. My parents Yuebing and Junping (seniors) got Covid on 8/6, and were isolated in their room. Our son Kevin used to live with them, and had to moved to other room with us. No separation in a central location (we were told that there are separate balcony rooms reserved for people tested positive for Covid) and made the other room more crowded. 2. Kevin tested positive for flu but no fever, but still he was isolated, and could not get off board, which is against policy. 3. Our daughter Mandy was tested positive for flu after Kevin moved in with us after 2 days, but no fever, and she was asked to be isolated by the medical center. We complained to the medical center since it is against the policy, so the medical center lifted the restriction. 4. Mandy was prescribed to Prednisolone (prescription drug with hormone). We consulted her pediatrician when we were back, and was told that should not be prescribed to children without fever at all. 5. There was no room service since 8/6 (4 days) when my parents were tested positive for Covid and Kevin was tested positive for flu for both rooms, although that was promised when they were in isolation, and was told food delivery for them will be free as well, but actually not the case, as we were still asked for the food delivery, so we didn’t end up ordering but bring food to them ourselves. 6. My dad Yuebing had depression and was taking medication (prescription drug Mirtazapine), but 4 days of isolation in the room made his symptoms worse. There was no advisory or considerations from the medical center at all. 7. At dissembark, my parents were picking up their passports but were giving someone else’s passport. We noticed when in Vancouver customs and asked the customs staff to replace for them.

No complaints about the size, but no room service since 8/6 so can't really say anything about comfort or cleanliness as you can imagine.

Appreciate your feedback. Actually, because of the protocols during the restart, isolation and refusal to disembarked became standard policy for illnesses. Sorry you were disappointed.

What is the policy that you are talking about? Confused.
