Aside from failed excursions, we had a great time on cruise.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was great, took a while to embark but everything was well organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Buffet food, pizza and burgers were good, didn't make it to restaurants because laundry was room was not open until the last day of cruise and our nice clothe was too wrinkled to wear to a nice restaurant. First we were told it would open Wednesday, then the next day and so on.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Sitting by pool watching movies and playing in casino was great.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were awesome! Musicians around ship were really good.
Children's Programs
We did not have kids with us or attend any kid activities.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was really nice and helpful as much as they could understand.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Tables were well maintained in dining areas. Sitting areas were really clean too.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice, clean and comfy. We would set out to eat and explore ship in the morning and when we'd come back, our room had been cleaned. We would leave again and come back late in afternoon and our room would be tidied up again. Very comfortable size cabin with tv nice size closet and bathroom.
We had an excursion through cruiseline.com but since the ship didn't let us out on time, we were 7 minutes late and were left behind. Tried to get a taxi to catch up but were told they were too far. We were told they'd explain so we could get reimbursed and now cruiseline.com says they were only told we were no show and may not get reimbursed. Looks like you are better off booking excursions through ship because they have guarantees. We did take a taxi to show us around island and Michael was great!
We had booked an excursion here too but they were running behind and luckily they made sure to let cruiseline.com know so they could give us our money back. Like I said though, book excursions through ship.
