Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was plentiful, but many times tasted the same. Best food at the Salty Dog Grill. Main dining room service was excellent but the food often was less than expected in quality. Rolls were all hard. Drinks were pretty good, but bring your own water.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Great salon, fun shows, small casino however the employees were welcoming and new our favorite drinks with the medallion experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were very elaborate and entertaining. The Princess theater was freezing, bring a coat. DJ was fantastic, wish they started the evening dancing at the bar a little earlier, not all who love to dance want to start after 10 pm.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Nerwin, was attentive to all our requests and needs. He found our lost bag during embarkation, he made our beds perfectly, and made us feel special. He worked endlessly with a smile on his face. Pinar in the casino always welcomed us with a smile and a drink. Helmut in the salon made me feel like a princess, so talented and quick with styling my long thick hair. I had a massage and it was wonderful, I also had a consult with the acupuncture physician, and they were very accurate with my diagnosis, I declined acupuncture treatments during my cruise, because, I am already in treatment with a chinese medicine practitioner.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For an older ship, the staff did an excellent job with cleaning and maintaining everything. It took a while to find our way around, but everyone was helpful, when we got lost.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our room, and the excellent balcony. Coffee and light breakfast in the morning enjoyed on the balcony, we made friends with our neighbors, and enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. Spring for a balcony, you won't regret it.

Ship tip

Order bottled or boxed water, soda cans prior or bring aboard.

Disembarkation

Efficient and they even texted us when we left our bag behind by mistake. They made it easy to pick it back up before we left Galveston.
