Review summary

Loved the ship, ports of call, food and ports of call. Would absolutely book this cruise again. Honestly other than Boarding day hiccup, which wasandled wonderfully by staff, I have no complaints and only great things to say.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We walked on with our luggage and I don't think I would have done it that way again. Our carry on backpacks would have been fine.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the main dining rooms was delicious. International Cafe was perfect for quick snacks and treats.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Trivia and game shows were fun family activities. The live performances in the clubs and lounges while getting drinks were also favorites.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The lounges and clubs with their live musicians were my favorite. All of these spaces were beautiful and comfortable with great drinks.

Children's Programs

My 9 year old son loved the Lodge. They had plenty of fun activities and games for kid only entertainment

Service and Staff

Everyone I met on the staff provided excellent service. They really make you feel welcome and special. Our cabin steward was the best!

Ship tip

Everything by the pool is crowded and wait times can be excessive. Consider going elsewhere for a quick lunch rather than waiting for food on this area.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
The Strand in Galveston is always fun. Good shopping and food.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Favorite port. Excursion to Big French Key was the perfect combo of relaxing and activities. We took the snorkeling option and they really looked out for us as inexperienced snorklets.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Port is great for shopping but everything started late so it was a hustle back to the cruise ship. Excursion was Atv, speedboat, and beach. My group loved this BUT the Atv portion is on the main road through Cozumel and can be stressful due to traffic. The speedboat ride was the best thing I did all cruise BUT my husband has driven a boat before. SO, great excursion but make sure you like a level of extra adrenaline for this one.

Disembarkation

Smoother than expected. We walked off with our luggage and I think that was the way to go.
