In a nutshell after all the money I spent on this cruise I will NEVER EVER cruise on your ship again! From embarking was a total disaster (what is the purpose of assigning check in times when it is not enforced) it took well over two hours to check in and disembarking was even worse to give me a checkout time of Yellow 3 for 9:15 when my flight leaves at 11:59 is totally unacceptable because it did not even allow me an hour to get to the airport only 36 minutes! I am totally livid and upset about the entire cruise that I will never cruise again! Thanks a lot for ten days of holy hell!

The wait to get on the ship was unbelievable! I don’t understand why you keep asking to see all paperwork when it was uploaded on the medallion app! The procedure for boarding was a complete nightmare! It was extremely chaotic and people were herded in like cattle! Again, what is the purpose of setting up a checkin time on the medallion app if you are not going to use it! My checkin time was supposed to be 1:30 but it took two hours to go through all those different line’s! Totally unacceptable that people had to wait in the smoldering hot sun without anywhere to sit while carrying personal items!

Okay, food was substandard and not enough seafood served especially since you were cruising in Alaska! Small size servings at the restaurants still leaving you feeling hungry and having to go find somewhere else to eat! Bananas were rotten in the buffet!

Okay fitness, lotus spa (hustler’s poaching their products), acupuncture (hustler poaching acupuncture packages)! I felt double teamed by the massagers pushing their skin care products on me!

The disembark time given to me was not early enough and it was extremely unprofessional and chaotic! I ended up missing my flight due to the arrival time at the airport! I had exactly 36 minutes once I got to the airport and had to check my bags, get my Eticket and still go through tsa precheck! I was extremely upset because once I got to the gate I saw my flight in mid flight departing leaving me exhausted from dragging my carryon and backpack! They were able to schedule me for the next flight home which was a 9.5 hour wait until my new flight scheduled to leave at 10 pm! My original flight left on time at 11:59 am! So I was extremely exhausted and jag lagged waiting all this time to board!
Hope embarkation is better by next year (our 1st princess cruise) sounds like Princess should use VeriFLY like Holland America.. our embarkation last month with VeriFLY: we were on the ship in 10 minutes
Princess does very well (with rare exception of course). It seems that you didn't do your homework and had unrealistic expectations. I learned so much from my first cruise. Either learn from this or start writing your next dissapointing review.

I was always told never book flights early because you never know when you are leaving ship? I do not blame ship for that.

Princess/ Carnival continue to disappoint all. If thet would invest in their product, they would not get the crap reviews they receive on this platform.
Sometimes it feels that a person wakes up one morning and decides to book a cruise. No preparation, no looking for info, not even a thought that the world is coming back from Covid. Embarkation/ disembarkation issues have been mentioned by 4 out of 5 reviews. Things are not the way they used to be, it's common knowledge. Small portions mean that you order more, not go hungry. Wheelchairs have been a part of every cruise I've been on, they do not describe the quality of the ship.
I can understand your frustration. It seems as tho the Ruby Princess consistently has embarkation and disembarkation issues. Ans standing out in the heat is unacceptable. I agree that the prearranged times should work as expected. We cruised the Majestic to Alaska out of Vancouver, and had an easy and efficient embarkation, and we’re on at our exact time. They really need to fix that issue.
Everyone one this site has been talking about embarkation and disembarkation issues. As we all know cruising has changed. We either need to learn to go with the flow or not cruise. There is no vacation you currently can take that won't have issues. Be thankful that you can vacation.
