Review summary

We had been talking about visiting Alaska for years. We used this cruise as our 50th wedding anniversary gift to each other. It was a delightful cruise with lots to do , lots of shopping and lots of entertainment. But we most enjoyed sitting on deck and watching the world go by.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was very smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food was good. The only thing for this southern girl to ever comment about was the lack of grits during breakfast.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I went to two craft classes and really enjoyed them. The movie night was great and the ice carving was amazing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to three shows. The speaker as well as the comedian and the magic musical were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff was very accommodating and saw to our every need.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Since this was our first cruise I cannot compare it to other vessels but the layout and design seemed fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was okay. A little small but we didn’t stay in there except to rest for a few minutes and sleep.

Ship tip

My advice would be to pack light and take a tour of the ship when first on board.
