The overview I was could is great! I loved my time on the Ruby and would love to come back again. some things need to be improved but over all I had a great vacation and would do it again for its staff and cleanliness.

The experiences I had in the dinning room and specialty restaurants were excellent! I could not be happier with my experiences The waiters were excellent and very good at their jobs. Paopa and peter were the best waiters and amazing people. I hope I could request them again. The buffet was also amazing. the food and layout was amazing and the servuse was excellent. I do however wish that there was set times for cabin numbers or levels to be able to go up to the buffet to ilimanate the amount of people in the buffet and to be able to find a spot to sit without walking around five times to then rush and find a spot. or perhaps be able to reserve a spot every day just like the set time dinning in the dinning room to insure that everyone is able to get a seat without having to fight over seats like I had to a few times on my trip. I think this would help alot in people having a better time in the buffet.
Onboard Activities

I unforchuetly didint get much chances to do any activities as they fell into the times of other events i had planned but I do think that one ones I did attend were quite small and not very long. I did have a chance to make it up to the sports deck for a game of golf and was very disapointed in it. The location was beautiful for a mini-putt and yet it was just a big green with holes. not impressed. I didnt get much time to get to the fitness centre but I did take a walk threw and it was amazing. I spent most of my time by the pool and I was a bit disapointed in how small the hot tubs were and how they always were crowded. The pools were a good size but only one was heated? why is that? most people spent their time in the heated one and not in the other. both should be heated so it would be less crowded.
Entertainment

They were the best thing about the trip. I went to every show and it was the highlight of my trip Gary the cruise director was the best part of out trip, he was the best person I could say on the ship. I will miss him. I do with the djs in the clubs were alittle more into techno and dance time music and not so much of a old style music that isent but to dance to for the younger people.
Children's Programs

Im not going on a trip that involes much kids. I dont think I should have to deal with them but I did like that they were under control. I do think they needed their own pool.
Service and Staff

Our service and staff were excellent! I loved everyone I incountered. My state room guy victor could have been a little more interactive but over all was great.
Ship Quality

Very pretty ship and very clean I really saw how hard all the staff was working to keep things clean, it was amazing. I hope that they all get well paid for the amazing jobs they all do and also always have a smile on their face. SOme of the best hard working people I have seen in a long time. never had any issuse with our table being messy or anything laying about. very happy
Cabin / Stateroom

How cabin was exellent! very roomy and a large TV was great for out inside moive nights. We had a blocked view but was still able to get nice sunlight in. very happy with our room. Showers cool be bigger though
Ship tip
If you have not been on a ship yet and I highly suggest that you bring your own motion sickness meds. I spent over $30. CAD on pills in the store along. very expensive for something that can't be helped.
Really liked LA but not alot to do if you want to stay close to the port. wish there was a bit more to do or options in ways to get to places without spending a arm and a leg on cab fair.
Cabo was good. Not quite was I had expected. my family had been their a few times and said it was amazing. I did not share that same thought. I felt the sellers on the port were VERY pushy and would not leave you alone. Family I was travling with felt the need to head back to the ship strickly because of there behaviors. Not very pleasing. Weather in Cabo was not as good as I could have liked but it was Feb so its not that big a deal but over all was a pretty good time.
Laz paz for the most part was very boring. Not alot to do other then drink. however the beaches in La Paz are amazing. I spent most of the time on the beach and was pretty happy. Need more bathrooms that you dont need to pay for... sorry but its a necessity not a choice to use a bathroom.
Loreto was everything I like about Mexico.. except for the wind! OMG the wind made Loreto very hard to do anything in. But the place was amamzing and so clean and gave you the great Mexico feel. I loved it. Knowone bugging you to buy anything and you can walk and enjoy your time and relax. very impressed.
Very happy here. We had a event on this port and it was amazing! just a beautiful place to be. and it was HOT just like it should be in a place like this. very happy!
