Review summary

The cruise was very relaxing & enjoyable. I’ve been a snowbird for many years & the excursions to shore were of no interest to me. As a winter resident, we tried to avoid going anyplace on cruise ship days. Always higher prices!

Excellent

Onboard Activities

Weather wasn’t the greatest so deck time was not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Drink waiters around the pool we’re almost non existent! The rest of the staff were great! Very pushy staff in Effy. Wouldn’t even show us what we came to see.

Ship tip

Avoid the Spa tour.....everyone of these folks would do well as time share salespeople!

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Just a quick overnight stay. Rainy cool weather so just stayed at hotel.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

2 out of 5
Cabo is too Americanized. Want dollars instead of pesos. One big tourist trap.

La Paz, Mexico Did not visit port

Been there before & felt it wasn’t worth the hour long bus ride there & back.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Also agree with the Lotus Spa and Effy staff. Will be doing the same cruise in October on the Royal, but hope the snorkeling in Loreto is good. 21 days until we board the Ruby for Hawaii.

So agree with the lotus spa area. We love princess but the spa area is a place we avoid as it has become a hard sales push. Huge turn off Princess. Go back to the basics of a spa and not selling so called new you cures that are nothing but proven shams! Thanks for sharing. We thought we were the only ones who thought that too. Sales pitches of products need to be off limits.
