Ruby Princess

7 Night Mexican Riviera (Los Angeles Roundtrip)

Sail date: December 01, 2018

Ship: Ruby Princess

Cabin type: Suite

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Review summary

We enjoyed the Premium Suite, but have some issues. The desk and telephone should really be in the sitting area and not by one of side of bed. In addition did not realize that there was a walking deck just outside our balcony which made it less private and block view to front.

A little research before booking a cruise cabin would of easily prevented that kind of surprise.

Your bio shows Coral Princess out of Vancouver . . ?

Oh, and your last listed cruise was on the Crown, for three days. No choir on short repositioning hops.

The cheaper Vista suites have two phones, one next to the bed area and one in the ‘living room’. That walking deck is actually the roof of the bridge which has a higher ceiling than the cabins. I am surprised you did not complain about the gym being above you, everyone I talked to in those two rooms said “never again”.

Next time check ship decks plan before you book. Just a little bit of advice. I learned to do that several times ago.
