Review summary
I was a newbie on taking a cruise, but I would rate my experience on the Ruby Princess Alaska voyage as a 9 on scale of 1-10. Everything was great except our dealings with the photo service on the ship. A little deceptive in their all "photos" for $249. Fine print is just "all assigned in your cabin". We had inlaws along on trip and wanted pics of them as well. Any other cabins would cost $249 per cabin or $20 per pic. We had picked out 18 photos some with just inlaws. They made us separate those out. So we just picked the 10 with us. They were to print those ten. When we came to pick up. They had printed the 8 that we were asked to take out and not our selections which they could not find. We had to search though 1000s to try to retrieve our pics. Otherwise the food and crew were awesome. Many commented that getting on and off the ship was the smoothest system they have ever seen. Highly recommend Princess and the Alaska cruise!

Ship tip
Set time dining is best. Michangelo room was outstanding. Take your own photos their service is not well managed.
