Review summary
Glacier Bay was the highlight of the cruise....and your entertainment on board is always great. the food menus need to be improved. Almost same exact appetizer on every menu every day. And when you order several items for your breakfast, you don't bring them one at a time, twenty minutes apart. Eggs, bacon, toast are eaten together. More explanation about your beverage package is needed. In big letters you need to explain about taking water bottles from your room verses getting water from somewhere on the ship. Does this make sense.....there are two bottles of water in my room.....but I have to walk out of my room down to a bar to get water or else I'm charged for the water. I would like that $15 reimbursed to me. A better description of your excursions is definitely required. Don't write moderate if there are several steep
hills to walk. Need to give more explanation. Let public know buses don't park near some sights and incline walking is required. We purposely booked a bus tour as apposed to walking as my husband has COPD. And the add never explained it enough. And for your transportation from ship to airport ...lT SUCKS!!!!! We were put on a bus with people going to all airlines. Never explained to us we are dropped off in a large parking lot with NO PORTER HELP. And over a half mile hike, up inclines, into elevators, across long bridges, trying to drag your luggage yourself is required. With direction to find the ticket counters long enough to need a GPS.....not acceptable at all. I would love to have that charge reimbursed to me as we suffered, with my husband having COPD. I asked and begged several employees with negative results for help. One of your employees actually gave us wrong direction. We were lucky a total stranger overheard all this and took control and guided us to the ticket area. The gentleman we booked our cruise with Phillip also needs to be more informative. He neglected to give us information on perks we could receive when we booked. Some we found out by friends and reading FB and he neglected to return calls when he said he would. Will never use him again. This is our third cruise to Alaska and would cruise again, but seriously thinking about changing cruise lines.....with all this said I may also be calling to talk to someone about my concerns.....please try to make improvements on these concerns. Respectfully, Joanna Walker
