Cabin number: C510

Review summary

The Ruby princess is a beautiful ship with very comfortable beds (the new heavenly beds). The cruise was relaxing and the food was delicious! I enjoyed the balcony viewing and the naturalist lectures. Also, the comedian was very funny. The excursions were pricey but a lot of fun. The staff was very attentive and the cabin steward did a great job of keeping everything spotless.

I would recommend the a Ruby Princess to anyone considering an Alaskan cruise.

Excellent location, large balcony. We had the partition between our balconies unlocked so we were able to go back and forth

Ship tip

Use the stairs whenever you can, the elevator wait can be quite long

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

Tracy Arm had too many icebergs so we cruised Endicott Arm. It was beautiful.

The Animal Planet whale watch was fantastic

The train had picturesque views, but got a little boring

Only two weeks now. We sail on July 17 and can hardly wait. Splurged for regular balcony too. Planning on eating all the food and taking in all the views. And bringing a bottle of wine. Hurray!

Good to know! Hubby & I will be taking the Ruby Princess next year to see Alaska too! Our first time on a cruise, so we are excited! We got a balcony AS well.
