Review summary

The cruise was somewhat slow and a little boring with the activities onboard. Definitely not a cruise for a young crowd. The employees on the cruise were helpful, but the cruiseline in general was not good with communication about excursions and travel when at the ports. Our room attendant was very personable and great at his job and was always willing to help us out and talk to us. The staff in the dining room was also wonderful and always so happy to see us and talk with us and gave us excellent service.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the dining room was absolutely delicious.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
There was really not much to do that was fun, especially for a younger group. It was not lively and most of the activities were geared toward old people.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
It was pretty boring.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
I didn't really get to see the children's programs, but there wasn't much for children to do onboard.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We stayed in B410 on the and Joel was great! He was personable and always willing to help us. Our dining service in the Da Vinci dining room was also wonderful. Wilson and his assistant attending table 469 were great and had great customer service. They were so accommodating and nice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It was clean and nice, but a little small. Having a latter to climb up onto the bunk was also pretty difficult with the small space.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

All we did was get on and off the ship here.

Le Havre (Paris), France

1 out of 5
All we did was ride a bus and the people were rude.

South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Scotland

5 out of 5
It was such a cute little port and the people were so friendly! The Edinburgh Castle was amazing! One of the best tours.

Invergordon (Inverness & Loch Ness), Scotland

3 out of 5
It was nice to see Loch Ness, but they need a tour where you can stop and shop at the places for Nessy items.

Liverpool, England

5 out of 5
This was good because there was a free bus from the cruise line you could hop on and off.

Belfast, Northern Ireland

5 out of 5
The Giant's Causeway was beautiful!

Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland

3 out of 5
The shopping here was awful.

Dublin, Ireland

St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands
