Royal Princess is one big ship that is kids friendly

The weather did not work to our advantage but the ship was beautiful. Would have liked to been able to see more of the ship from the outside but all in all a very nice ship. The entertainment was not what we expected after being on other cruises so some disappointment there but was nice to relax for a few days and get away from work.

Princess is definitely a step up from other cruise lines. It was a very enjoyable cruise in the dead of winter. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall the ship had plusses and minuses. As a smoker they had nice accommodations that allowed us to be private from the nonsmoking guests. This was appreciated. The main dining facility (Symphony) was over booked and under staffed leading to long waits to eat.

Wonderful cruise. Entertainment was great, food was excellent, and the itinerary was perfect. Only criticism is small common spaces on ship for large amount of people, as well as very long waiting time for "anytime" dining - at least an hour most nights.

Great fun, great weather and good food. We've been to all the ports before but we wanted to try out this ship and while there were a LOT more people (and families due to the Christmas holiday), the facilities and the Princess staff really made for a relaxing vacation. Looking forward to the next cruise!

Horrible from the start my honeymoon and service and staff were horrible

The onboard entertainment and crew were fist class.

Great ship. Wonderful crew. Excellent food. The ruins in Belize are a must-see for every traveler who goes there.

Our cruise was overall great. The itinerary was good and the ratings of each port is partially based on our excursion choices at each one. Our favorite excursion was visiting Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman (part of a larger tour, but this part of it was the best). However, our favorite port was Cozumel. Clean, friendly, and fun, atmosphere! We did have a couple of issues with lost luggage and a non-working TV on our ship, but they did get resolved. Food was good, entertainment OK, and room steward was great!

THE SERVICE AND FRIENDLINESS OF THE CREW AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS JUST ALMOST NONEXISTENT. TALKED WITH OTHERS THAT HAVE CRUISED ON BOARD AND THEY TOO WERE HAVING THE SAME EXPERIENCE. YOU FELT LIKE YOU WERE BOTHERING THEM AND THEY REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT. MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT A BOTTLE OF WINE AND DID NOT GET IT TO THE TABLE UNTIL A HALF HOUR LATER AND TOLD THEM TO SEND THE FOOD BACK UNTIL WE GOT THE WINE. THEY SEEMED TO BE VERY ANNOYED WITH IT. SO WE LEARNED YOU ORDER WINE OR ANY COCKTAIL FIRST BEFORE YOU ORDER YOUR FOOD AND WE WERE NOT ON THE DRINKING PACKAGE. WE PAID FOR ALL OUR DRINKS. IF YOU ASK FOR ANYTHING IT WAS USUALLY ABOUT THREE TIMES AND THEN PERHAPS YOU GET IT. JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE LIKE TOWELS IN THE ROOM HAD TO CALL THREE TIMES AND STILL DID NOT GET IT. SO WE BROUGHT THE TOWELS FROM THE POOL TO USE. WHEN WE SAW THE GUY IN THE HALLWAY AND WAS FACE TO FACE AND SAID GIVE US TWO EXTRA TOWELS IN THE ROOM EACH DAY THEN WE GOT IT. I CAN KEEP GOING. IT WAS NOT NORWEGIAN WHERE YOU ALWAYS FEEL LIKE THEY WANT TO DO MORE FOR YOU AND WANT YOU TO COME BACK. WHICH THIS WAS OUR FIRST AND LAST TIME THAT WE WILL CRUISE WITH PRINCESS. IT'S A SHAME BECAUSE THEY HAVE LONG DOCK TIMES ON THE ISLANDS WHICH WE STAYED OFF THE BOAT AS LONG AS WE COULD. OH FORGOT THE BEST ONE TOO. YES WE WERE THE CRUISE WITH THE MURDER ON IT. ENTERTAINMENT WAS A JOKE AND DID NOT HAVE SHOWS EVERY NIGHT. NORWEGIAN EVERY NIGHT IS A SHOW EVEN IF ITS JUST DANCING. AND THE LIVE MUSIC THE MUSICIANS WERE GOOD BUT AFTER ABOUT TWO, THREE DAYS YOU GET TIRED OF HEARING THE SAME MUSIC BEING PLAYED. I JUST LOOKED AT THIS SURVEY AND IT SAID MY OVERALL RATING IS A 2.5. NO! PRINCESS GETS A 1 FROM US. THE ISLANDS WE WENT TO GET A FULL 5. THE ISLANDS WERE WONDERFUL IF YOU LIKE SNORKELING SCUBA AND WATER ACTIVITIES, BEAUTIFUL. THE PEOPLE WERE WARM FRIENDLY AND RELAXED AND SERVICES WERE GREAT. WE ALSO FELT VERY SAFE EVERYWHERE WE WENT. WALKED TO BEACHES AND FELT TOTALLY SAFE. THE MOST FUNNY THING IS THE ROOM THAT IS SHOWING ON THIS IS THE ROOM THEY CHANGED ON US AND DID NOT TELL US THAT THEY CHANGED AND MADE US FEEL WE WERE WRONG TO THINK THAT WAS OUR ROOM. SO WE NEVER WERE IN THE ROOM WE BOOKED SO WE CAN'T COMMENT ON IT. BUT THE 9TH FLOOR ROOM WAS NASTY SMELLING AND DIRTY. THE ROOM WE FINALLY GOT WAS NICE 615 ON THE 15TH FLOOR BUT IT WAS A VERY HORRIBLE BAD EXPERIENCE TO GET WHAT WE PAID FOR. WE WILL NEVER CRUISE WITH THEM AGAIN. GOING TO CRUISE AND NEVER STRAY AWAY FROM THE CRUISE LINE WE ENJOY AND FEEL SAFE ON THAT BEGINS WITH AN "N". REMEMBER WE HAD THE MURDER ON THE CRUISE. 4:30 A.M. WAS ANNOUNCED IN THE ROOMS OF AN EMERGENCY AT LIFEBOAT 2. IT TOTALLY SCARED THE HELL OUT OF US. AND WE IMMEDIATELY GOT READY TO RUN SINCE WE WERE NEVER TOLD WHAT WAS GOING ON UNTIL WE FOUND OUT IN ARUBA FROM LOCALS WHAT HAPPENED. POOR MANAGEMENT.

This cruise was traumatic due to the murder onboard. It put a damper on the fun because you grieved for this woman’s family. Princess did not do enough to keep us informed. Some thought the person responsible was still onboard etc. princess should have given an update!

A great cruise with many ports! Awesome scenery and options for exploration. We did a combination of excursions through Princess and some museums on our own. Had a marvelous time in every City. Can’t wait to do it all again! Dress warm - was in the mid to high 30’s when we go to Canada in the mornings.

It was okay. The food was generic, you get the same food on a much less expensive cruise. No cell service in cabin. I feel the spa on board should charge more realistic prices. They were so expensive we couldn’t afford to do all the things we would have liked. If they charged a reasonable price, more people would enjoy what they have to offer. Our room Stewart, Virgil was great, also RhyAnn, our beverage server and Miguel our waiter, were wonderful.

Overall, we really enjoyed this trip! The leaves were late in changing, and it was gray most of the time, and even rainy, but it was still a great time!
