Review summary

The weather did not work to our advantage but the ship was beautiful. Would have liked to been able to see more of the ship from the outside but all in all a very nice ship. The entertainment was not what we expected after being on other cruises so some disappointment there but was nice to relax for a few days and get away from work.

Everything went smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food and choices was very good and service was excellent. We did have issues with the anytime dining. It is not really anytime dining, we could not dine until after 7:30 PM in the evening which caused problems one being eating late and taking up time we could have spent seeing the scheduled shows and entertainment. Also had to go to certain dining areas only. Would not suggest this.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The gym was small and busy daily , possible due to the bad weather we encountered but not enough space to get a work out in. The pools are very nice but at times crowded. The upper level sports area ping pong, golf, and basket ball courts, running/walking track all excellent. Would have liked to been able to walk around the entire ship at least to the front but no access. The casino was okay not enough scheduled tournaments, also machine odds are not up standards, definitely not in line with most casino payouts in the states. Bad odds very little returns. Would not suggest investing to much time in this casino.

Bands, music and comedy shows and performers all very good but not enough of them. We did not care for the entertainment directors and feel they did not do a very good job. There should be more variety and better scheduling. I would suggest that they add some additional outdoors entertainment for days sitting at ports or in transit maybe some on board fishing, skeet shooting, something more geared towards sports and athletics for those that enjoy some chalanages and being outdoors.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters, room stewards and all ship personnel we came in contact where excellent. Service was very good at all areas on the cruise. Only complaint would be the entertainment directors.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is beautiful and all areas of the ship where cleaned and well maintained daily. Only complaint was we could not walk all around the ship on deck, and had no access at all around the front of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was clean and maintained everything operated as it should. I was told our cabin was upgraded but I am not sure what the upgrade consisted of other than location? Our only complaint would be not enough space for bags or area to lay out/ store clothing.

Ship tip

Verify dining schedule & entertainment schedule meets your expectations before sailing. Have a plan.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

No time before sailing but use to live there so know the area well.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Weather was bad could not leave the ship carried on to the next port.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

This was a very nice location and the first day we had some sun shine, we made it to the beach which was very nice and clean (water was murky possible due to the weather?) The beach area was very nice as well as the tourist shopping area.

Belize City, Belize

We did a snorkeling excursion and it was okay the personnel all very nice and helpful but water again was very murky and rough. We felt it was to scheduled in groups and to many people very crowded running into each other. Would not recommend this location.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Well when we arrived so did 5 other ships at the same time so the area was jammed packed with people and very little room to move. Every area was crowded and would have liked to seen more of it but to many people. We did do a sport fishing excursion which was excellent and would highly recommend it if you enjoy fishing. Water was beautiful crystal clear and a great area to do some snorkeling.
