Review summary

We loved every moment on the ship! It was a fantastic experience!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Very chaotic. We were in the "slow" Blue Lane because we had to pick up our medallion in person due to Princess computer technical difficulties.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We mostly ate at the buffet because of the wide variety of food choices. The food was excellent!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the enrichment presentations by Park Rangers and others. We did not take part in live games or contests.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was exceptional. We enjoyed several evening performances and enjoyed listening to musicians/performers every evening.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Exceptional service. Everyone was friendly, polite, enthusiastic, and professional

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. Being onboard the ship was my favorite part of the whole vacation!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We oved our balcony room and we were very comfortable! Our steward Victor kept our room very neat and cozy. We had plenty of room for our clothes and other belongings.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
Interesting history. It rained and was very cloudy. We took a trolley around town and out to the Mendenhall Glacier. The ports of call were not my favorite part of the cruise.

Skagway, Alaska

4 out of 5
Cute little town. Interesting history. We took the White Pass & Yukon Route train ride which follows the trail of the Klondike Gold Rush. The ports of call were not my favorite part of the cruise.

Cruise Glacier Bay

4 out of 5
We got to see 2 of the 5 main glaciers. It was very cloudy/foggy, but we got a pretty good view. We did not see any whales or other animals. The ports of call were not my favorite part of the cruise.

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
Cute town. Interesting history. We saw Creek Street and watched salmon swimming upstream. It was actually a partially sunny day! The ports of call were not my favorite part of the cruise.

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
We walked to the Wharf area on a lovely, mild evening. This was my favorite port of call because of the beautiful weather! We only had 3 hours there, though.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
So chaotic with so many people everywhere! We had transfer service for debarkation which eliminated the hassle of getting a taxi or Uber. Long lines/wait times getting to the shuttle and long lines/wait times at the airport-Ugh!
