Review summary

It was our first cruise and we liked it . We ate too much and definitely weight! The staff was wonderful . The ports were ok but seemed pretty similar except for glacier bay and Victoria. Wish we had more time in Victoria

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It was good . There were so many people I think the process was as efficient as it could be

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
They were fine. The food was recycled through the various dining establishments and presented well. The chefs were creative

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Hard to say . I didn’t participate in many. Gambling shopping and drinking were not on my activity list and the other activities were a bit silly

Entertainment

Didn’t go to any lounge shows

Children's Programs

The kids I noticed all were having fun

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was excellent! Especially our room steward Dax

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I kept getting lost . The ship was so big but always clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was a bit cramped with a bed coming out of the ceiling but the balcony was amazing. It was huge compared to the other cabins even with an obstructed view .

Ship tip

Book excursions early, use the porter valet system as soon as it becomes available . Pay attention to the paperwork in your cabin and don’t forget to bring cash to tip your room steward. The cash machine charges over over 7 dollars on fees on the ship

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Liked the wildlife excursion

Victoria, British Columbia

2 out of 5
Too short and too late at night

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Staff let us use porter valet even though we signed up late. We did almost miss our flight because it took awhile to get off the ship

Victoria is a great place to visit. Too bad you didn’t have time to enjoy more of it, especially Butchart Gardens!
