We are so thankful that we were able to experience Alaska by cruise ship. It has been a memorable week and a half that we will never forget.
Don’t wait too long to see the glaciers, you will feel a little saddened by the icebergs in the water that has broken away.
And even the glaziers sing of his glory !

I would love to rate this a five star.
The food was above average for a cruise ship. The dining room service was less then poor, I have experience 25 cruises I have never had such a negative dining room experience due to waiter staff. I want to group of nine requested a table change but due to a full ship we could not change tables. We were locked in to a negative dining experience I had a 5 PM Seating time.
Anytime seating will be my future choice.
On a positive note The staff and maître d’ of the Italian restaurant was excellent.
The steak house was excellent with both staff and Food.
The buffets were very good and we experienced no long lines.

Really enjoyed walking around the ship and the shops. I also enjoyed the casino for the first time.

Having seen many cruise ship shows I can say that these shows were very good. The singers were excellent and the production was memorable

Our room Stewart was attentive and accommodating. He truly enhance the cruising experience by his kindness and personal attention.
All other ship personnel other than our dining room wait staff was excellent. It is so unfortunate to have a dining room experience that was so negative due to waiter staff

Our cabin was a average balcony size room. They best thing about this cabin is the extended balcony. Our Alaskan cruise experience was very much enhanced due to our room location.
Our room Stewart was the best!
Ship tip
Enjoy the coffee shop and complementary treats. Go to the nightly shows, they are great. Choose anytime dining so that you will not get locked into a less than acceptable waiter and assistant waiter
Juneau is beautiful! We chose a helicopter ride with a glacier landing and walking about. We chose to use coastal helicopters. It was a great choice. We also did a canoe ride to the Mendenhall glacier and nugget waterfalls. So great!
Fun port! We chose a excursion that took us on a van ride up into Canada and a train ride back to the cruise port. It was a excellent excursion with a abundance of information in both directions.
This may have been our favorite time. We saw so many glaciers. Do take time to research information about this area before your trip. Hopefully you will have a quiet area to take in the majesty of this beautiful area.
