Review summary

This cruise lived up to it's expectations. The scenery and excursions were all amazing. This is a very mellow cruise but still very entertaining. Would highly recommend.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No issues with the embarkation process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food was excellent and something was available at all times. Only knock would be not enforcing the formal dining wear on formal nights.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The main pools and spas were always full of kids. The adult pool closed down the nicest day on the ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Only saw a couple of shows. The comedian was funny. Other acts were ok.

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff was very courteous, helpful and accommodating.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
After a day or 2 figuring out the layout of the ship it was very east to find your way around. The elevators were a bit crowded most of the time.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was just the right size for 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of room in the bathroom.

Ship tip

Don't worry about dressing up too much for formal nights. It's not enforced and some of us were way over dressed.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

We only embarked here but did have lunch and a drink at a local bar.

Ketchikan, Alaska

I wish we had more time here. There was a lot to do. We took a sea plane excursion. It is highly recommended. Creek Street was also a must do.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
This port was awesome. Tons of Bald Eagles. The tram to the top of Mount Roberts is a must. We went whale watching here and saw a lot of whales. We couldn't get very close so the camera shots weren't the best.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Very small town. Took a helicopter to Meade Glacier. This was amazing. The Red Onion restaurant and brothel was pretty cool.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Maybe our favorite part of the cruise. Saw Marjorie Glacier calving which was an amazing sight. Also saw Hump Back Whales, Orcas, and Hall's Porpoises.

Cruise College Fjord, Alaska

5 out of 5
Tons of glaciers on this day to see. Amazing views. Saw more Hump Back Whales and Orcas here.

Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
Very small town. Only disembarked here to coach that took us to Anchorage. Coach ride was very informative and we saw a lot of water falls and a few creatures.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No issues disembarking. Went straight to a bus to Anchorage.
