Review summary

Not the first time I’ve cruised on Royal Princess, but she gets better every trip. The food was superb, with the great friendly service that goes with it. Entertainment was a credit to them, well done Matt O and all that help and support him. Amazing performers, lots of energy

Well laid out, never felt like there were over 3,500 guests on board. Always could find a quiet corner

Cabin / Stateroom

The mattress was firm with beautiful feather pillows. Liked the fact the wardrobes and bathroom was tucked around the back and couldn’t be viewed when entering the room. Room was always promptly cleaned. I think it’s the first one on the list each day. Romeo was a wonderful cheerful cabin steward who took a lot of pride in his work.

Ship tip

If you are interested in the photography Princess provides. Check it each day and ask to set up a folio, and add your photos to it. So at the end of voyage it’s simpler to review and purchase only those you’d like to keep

We used this port for the Falkirk Wheel which sadly wasn’t working when we arrived but we had an amazing day in Stirling with a very accommodating guide, thank you Chris.

Cruising on Royal next year and glad to hear food was “superb”! Did you eat in main dining or specialty?

We've been on the Royal 3 times and like all Princess ships had a great time with excellent service. Princess is our cruise line of choice.

IvyIrene, Did the ships horn play the Loveboat theme? When we went on it, it did. Loved it
