Nice but leaved a little disappointed. Bad elevators on ship and very poor food. Overall I'd give this cruise 3.5 stars out of 5 stars. Buy the drink package and internet package before you leave. Many of the shore excursions especially through the shopping areas are not worth the price from what we observed.
Embarkation

They would not let us send the luggage to the ship via the Princess airport bus ahead of us embarking onto the ship our first day so we could not visit Rome which did not set a good tone on the start of this cruise. No reason not to have let us send out luggage ahead of us arriving onto the ship as the bags were all tagged with our cabin number. We ended up wasting our first day in Rome sitting on the ship for 5 unnecessary hours.

Food was extremely disappointing. We have been cruising for over 30 years and this was the poorest quality food we have ever been served. Extremely bane and tasteless seemed to be the over theme on this cruise. Not for a lack of effort however as they offered over 50 different choices of food at the buffet. Maybe they should offer less choice and have better tasting food.

Pool was nice. We were so busy with island exploring didn't do much at night with activities and entertainment.

Too tired to go to shows at night due to visiting ports every day.

Ship Quality

Ship was extremely clean and staff was consistently cleaning things to maintain this standard. The worst thing about this ship is the elevators which are awful and extremely slow. When you push the elevator button it only calls two of the four elevators unless you move to the other set and then push that button. The elevators will also skip your floor more often than not.

Take the stairs, it's healthier. As for the food, Princess has quality food. Try eating in the specialty restaurants or if you don't want to spend a few extra $$$ then pack a week's worth of PB & J sandwiches.
