A bucket list cruise of a lifetime. Holland America remains our first choice for cruising. Just be aware that on their newer (Signature Class ships) the cabins are significantly smaller, including the suites.

Would highly recommend this ship and the cruise line. Felt as if the effort was always there in providing awesome value.

Overall we had just about perfect weather, rhe staff was wonderful. Our cabin staff, Roni & Paul, greeted all of us by name anytime we saw them in thr hallways, it felt very caring and kind. They were both very attentive and answered my room questions. The itinerary left outsidr the door each day was also very nice to have, since it had updates to excursions and ports. For the games/gameshows, Diana, Tomas, and Noah wwre all very enthusiastic and fun.

The Rotterdam is a beautiful new ship with an excellent staff and gorgeous ambience. If you love music and dance this is the ship for you!! Food was also excellent and well,served. Only negative …we were promised a 50$ room credit and never received from ….which was disappointing.I won’t book with them ever again .

I loved it and would love to take another cruise on Holland America Line😍

The specialty restaurant were a saving grace due to the atmosphere in the dining room. Special commendations for Rudi's and Pinnacle.

Overall my wife and I had a good time; not great. We expected a lot more from Holland America in regards to service than we received. Unlike our experience with Celebrity the week prior, the Rotterdam fell short on many fronts. Wile we will sail on Holland America again, we will do so going into it with a lower expectation. We are hoping that they are able to work the kinks out their crew and systems.

This cruise met or surpassed all expectations for our anniversary cruise.

We traveled as a couple, and were joined by some of our family on the trip. We are 35-40 and our family was 50+. This ship is clearly geared for older crowd, and we'll be researching Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line for any future trips. We'll keep Holland America in mind for a future Alaska cruise.

If you are afraid of COVID, don't travel in a cruise, there is still a big risk. But, if you are like me, and are OK if something happens, by all means. Fun, caring, good service. Need to improve the shows. Food is excellent, any of the self service needs is great.

This cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable! The stage shows that were performed by the Step One Dance company were totally awesome. Make sure that you don't miss these great shows. The cruise director, Kimberly Wells, was so personable and friendly, she had the ability to make you feel special. She actually took the initiative and time to go around and talk to the individual passengers. That was a first for us! And we have sailed on close to 30 cruises. The food was great! The weather was great and the seas were smooth. What more can you ask for?

We have a good time overall , relax , and we are ready to cruise again hopefully this year 🙂

Second time for me to do a cruise and I am sold on this manner of vacation. Everything self contained, no packing and unpacking, great food, lots of activities going on all the time and the entertainment is excellent. Shore excursions fun. What's not to like.

Cruise was relaxing just what we were looking for after pandemic. Top notch service, luxurious surrounding's and great food who would want more?

Not sure I would spend the money to cruise on Holland America again. Having traveled on the Disney Cruise Lines over a dozen times, some without our kids, I would have expected a similar high end experience with Holland. Unfortunately that was not the case.

Elegant ship, great service, food and drink. Lincoln Center Stage venue with four talented classical musicians performed great music. A treasure and a treat. The elegance and ambiance of this ship is tarnished and degraded by the awful piped music in the public places. Almost all is music that would appeal to a teen-ager, not the mature guests aboard. I do not like to be "entertained" by RAP music while I have my breakfast. Too much vocalist, mostly female screaming into her microphone. The music must be chosen by one of the busboys, who chose his personal preferences, not those of the guests.

Great food, entertainment and service. Room stewards outstanding!

The Rotterdam is layed out very nicely. It was easy to find our way around, even on the first day.
