We had a nice time on the cruise. It was definitely more low key than previous cruise on other lines. The lack of photographers and waiters selling fancy umbrella drinks was good. There were no belly flop contests in the pool...another plus. The food was terrific. The walk in shower in the cabin was a great feature.

We got to the terminal earlier than the assigned time. The assigned time meant nothing. Boarding was done according to the level of the cabin. The passengers in suites, penthouses and congierge level went to first. We had to wait at least an hour from our assigned time. why don't they just assign the boarding time to coincide with their boarding system. We have had faster boarding times on the Royal Caribbean mega ships like the Oasis, Allure and Harmony!

The food was definitely better than any of the other ships we have been on (Royal, Princess, Celebrity, Holland and Norwegian). This applies to the specialty restaurants and the main dining room.

We did the art classes and the cooking class. These classes were excellent.

All the shows were good but I've seen better shows on Royal and Celebrity.

Our room steward, Olha, was wonderful. She was on top of all of our requests and did a great job. The waiters in all of the venues were wonderful and helpful. No dirty plate stayed on the table for more than a minute.

The cabin was a nice size. It was a little difficult to get access to the closet because it was so close to the night stand. The towels were plush but very rough. I indicated this on the mid cruise survey and the next day, the towels were a bit softer.
Ship tip
Enjoy the food and peaceful atmosphere. I was glad there were no photographers or waiters trying to sell fancy drinks.
We did a beach excursion. The time was changed to 2 1/4 hours later than originally planned. It rained while we were there. I've been to nicer beaches.
Due to the rough seas, we did not take the tender. We were disappointed because this was the island we wanted to see most. We had a lunch reservation at of of the hotels and had to cancel it.
We had reserved an excursion but the time was changed to 9:00 AM. That is too early for us. All the tours were changed to 9:00 or earlier. I think the Wonder of the Seas got priority in getting the better times for excursions. That was not fair to the passengers on our ship. tours were changed to changed to
