Review summary

The ambiance and services were exactly as on previous Oceania cruises, excellent. Unfortunately, the wine prices and  off shore tours were seriously overpriced and some tours were not up to expectations. A 4 hours tour should not be 2.5 hours substance with one hour shopping or 2 hours "on your own" for $ 169.  Separate shopping tours could be organized to those so inclined.

I agree that Oceania charges way too much for their shore excursions. We went to the Med. last year and had the same experience. You don't get much for  what you pay for on their excursions. We are planning a cruise to Hawaii next year and we are making all own arrangements for the shore excursions  and saving money. The food and service on the ship is very good however, which is why we are booking with Oceania again. Other cruise lines have less costly shore excursions but their food and service is below par.
