Review summary

Perfect cruise, perfect cruise line, and traveling with friends is always a blessing! We love Oceania! Can’t wait to book our next one we’re looking at Northern Europe next.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Got to the terminal in Miami 3 hours before our checkin time. They let us board after a short one hour wait. We had a great lunch in the Terrace Cafe and our luggage was waiting in our room after lunch. Perfect!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The specialty restaurants were great as usual. Jamie the head of the Terrace was the best. He always made sure our party of four had full drinks and plates removed. On several occasions he made sure we dined outside as weather permitted. After 18 cruises and some of the best 5 star restaurants on land we haven’t encountered that level of excellence in service. The dining room is good for breakfast and lunch. Service is very slow at night and the food is not always hot.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved this ship! The cruise director Julie is the best. Great casino manager too! We don’t gamble but loved learning how to play kino and black jack! I won a slot tournament and played in the black jack tournaments. They don’t take things to seriously and it was great fun.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had a wonderful ventriloquist on board ship I haven’t laughed that loud in along time!We also enjoyed the movies and popcorn nights very relaxing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jamie in the Terrace grill the very best! Julie the cruise director is great! We also liked the Captains noon report, he let us know if we were headed for bumpy seas so we weren’t caught off guard or afraid. I have been on 18 cruises some with very rough seas this was our first where the Captain kept us fully informed, great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very small ship 640 passengers we loved the elegant decor. It was very comfortable too!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We liked the location and always stay in a balcony room however because this is a very small ship the room was cramped. Very small bathroom and small love seat. If you require a large shower you need to upgrade to a penthouse.

Ship tip

Relax and enjoy! Since this is a small ship you can get anywhere in 5 minutes or less. No lines to wait through minutes to get off and on ports. This is not a party ship! If you are looking for the party to start at midnight this is not the ship for you!
